SELLER & RENTAL AGREEMENT

This Seller & Rental Agreement ("Agreement") governs all selling and rental activities conducted on RentNShine.
By product items on the Platform, you agree to the following terms.

1. Platform Role

  • The Platform acts solely as a technology intermediary connecting buyers/renters and sellers.
  • The Platform does not own listed items.
  • The Platform is not a party to the sale or rental agreement between users.
  • Sellers are fully responsible for listed items and transactions.

2. Seller Eligibility

Sellers must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Comply with all applicable laws

Seller Types:

  • Individual Seller: A person selling or renting personal items
  • Business Seller: A registered business providing an NTN

Business Sellers must provide valid business and tax details.

3. Products & Content

Sellers are responsible for:

  • Accurate descriptions and images
  • Correct pricing and availability
  • Disclosure of defects, wear, or limitations

Prohibited items include:

  • Counterfeit goods
  • Illegal items
  • Misleading or deceptive products

The Platform may remove products at its discretion.

4. Pricing & Commission

  • Sellers set their own prices.
  • The Platform charges a commission per successful transaction.
  • Commission rates are disclosed before product.
  • The Platform may deduct its commission before seller payout.

5. Payments & Payouts

  • Customer payments are processed via approved payment gateways.
  • Seller payouts are released after transaction completion.
  • Payout schedules may be immediate, periodic, or delayed due to disputes or reviews.

6. Tax Responsibility

  • Sellers are solely responsible for declaring and paying taxes on their earnings.
  • The Platform is taxed only on its commission.
  • The Platform does not provide tax advice or file taxes on behalf of sellers.
  • Business Sellers confirm that their provided NTN is valid and accurate.

7. Rental-Specific Obligations

Seller Responsibilities:

  • Deliver items in agreed condition
  • Clearly state rental duration and conditions

Renter Responsibilities:

  • Use items responsibly
  • Return items on time and in agreed condition
  • Pay for damage, loss, or late return as applicable

8. Disputes

  • Users should attempt to resolve disputes directly.
  • The Platform may review evidence and facilitate resolution.
  • Platform decisions regarding refunds, penalties, or account actions are final.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Sellers must not:

  • Commit fraud or misrepresentation
  • Manipulate reviews or ratings
  • Circumvent Platform fees
  • Engage in abusive or unlawful behavior

10. Account Suspension & Termination

The Platform may suspend or terminate seller accounts for:

  • Policy violations
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

Outstanding obligations remain enforceable after termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is not liable for:

  • Seller or renter misconduct
  • Item quality or authenticity
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Maximum liability shall not exceed the Platform's commission from the disputed transaction.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Pakistan.

13. Amendments

The Platform may amend this Agreement periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
