Delete your account
Delete your RentNShine account yourself on the website or in the Android or iPhone app, or ask us to delete some of your data. Here is how, what we delete, and what we keep and for how long.
RentNShine is operated by Neuron Solutions. One account works on rentnshine.com and in our Android and iOS apps.
Delete your account in a few steps
- 01
Sign in and open the delete screen
Website: Dashboard → Settings → Delete account. Android or iPhone app: Account → Delete my account. It’s one account on all three, so deleting it anywhere deletes it everywhere.
- 02
Check what happens
We show you what we delete, what we keep, and anything you need to finish first, like an order that is still on its way.
- 03
Confirm it’s you
Type DELETE to confirm. If you signed in a while ago, we ask you to confirm it’s you once more.
- 04
Your account is switched off
You’re signed out everywhere, your listings are hidden and notifications stop. We delete the account 14 days later and email you when it’s done.
Changed your mind? Sign in before then and choose Keep my account.
You delete it yourself
Switched off as soon as you confirm, deleted for good 14 days later. We email you when it’s scheduled and again when it’s done.
You ask us
By the form below or by email. We confirm the request came from you, complete it within 30 days of confirming, and email you when it’s done.
Can’t sign in? Use the request form or email info@rentnshine.com.
Your information, and how long we keep it
When your deletion completes (14 days after you confirm, or within 30 days of a request), we delete what is only about you. Some records involve other members or are needed for accounting and the law; we keep those for the periods below, without your name on them where we can.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your account: name, email, phone number, username, profile photo, bio and sign-in | Deleted |
| Saved addresses, saved items, alerts, notification settings and push device tokens | Deleted |
| Your listings, their photos and your drafts | Listings nobody ordered are deleted with their photos, and so are drafts. Listings with past orders are removed from the site and kept, hidden, with those orders. |
| Find My Look requests and their photos | Your description, contact details and photos are deleted. Sellers keep only a record that they offered a listing. |
| Saved payout bank or wallet details | Deleted, once any payout owed to you has been paid. Each past payout keeps the account it was paid to (see orders and payments below). |
| Usage analytics linked to your account | Deleted |
| Data | What happens | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Orders, payments, refunds and payouts — including the name, phone and address on each order, payment-proof screenshots, and a seller’s tax details (NTN) | Kept for up to 10 years after the order | Tax and accounting records |
| Chat messages, dispute and damage-claim records, and handover condition photos | Kept for up to 10 years after the order, shown as “Deleted user” | Evidence for disputes, chargebacks and fraud cases involving other members |
| CNIC images and selfie, if you verified your ID | Deleted 1 year after your verification ends — deleting your account ends it. If a dispute involving you is still open then, deleted when it closes. | Investigating disputes and fraud from the time you were verified |
| Warnings, suspensions and bans on the account | Kept for up to 10 years | Fraud prevention and the safety of other members |
| Reviews and ratings you gave or received | Kept with the listing or shop they are about, without your name or photo | They are part of other members’ ratings |

Can’t be deleted separately
The records on the “Kept” table above: orders and payments, chat messages, dispute records, condition photos, warnings and reviews. Other members and the law rely on them, so they stay for the periods shown, even if you delete your account.
Ask us to delete your account or data
No sign-in needed. We confirm the request came from you by emailing the account address, complete it within 30 days of confirming, and email you when it’s done.
Account deletion questions
Why can’t I delete my account right now?
Something is still open: an order in progress, a refund or payout not yet paid, or a dispute case. The delete screen lists each one with a link. Once they are finished you can delete the account.
How long does it take?
If you delete it yourself, it’s switched off at once and deleted 14 days later. If you ask us, we complete it within 30 days of confirming the request is yours. Either way, we email you when it’s done.
Can I undo it?
Yes, for 14 days. Sign in and choose Keep my account. Your listings come back as they were. After that the deletion can’t be undone.
I can’t sign in. How do I delete my account?
Use the request form on this page, or email info@rentnshine.com from the address on the account. We confirm the request came from you, then complete it within 30 days. The same rules apply.
Can I delete some of my data and keep my account?
Yes. Some things you can delete yourself at any time; for the rest, use the form and choose “Some of my data”. Records other members or the law rely on can’t be deleted separately.
Can I sign up again later with the same email?
Yes. A new account starts fresh. Nothing from the deleted account comes back.
